Domino with friends online starts in seconds: you create a private table, send your friend the link, and the match starts the moment they sit down. A private table is not listed in the lobby, so no stranger can join it, and if you add a password, even the link is not enough. Your friend does not need an account — they can come in as a guest. Below is every step, including the part people forget: the link works for 24 hours and admits one person only.
How to create a private table
- Open the domino page and tap "Create table".
- Choose the points to play to: 75, 175, 255 or 355. 75 is a quick match, 175 an ordinary evening, 255 and 355 long ones.
- Choose a player as your opponent, not the bot — otherwise the match starts against the bot at once.
- Leave the game type on "Free" if you do not want to play for coins. A coin table is only for players with accounts, and both must have enough coins.
- Under visibility, choose "Private".
- Add a password if you like — at least 4 characters. If you leave the field empty, the table can only be joined by link.
- Create the table — you land in the waiting room, where your invite link is ready.
One account can have at most three open tables at a time. If nobody sits down for a long time — roughly an hour — the site cancels the table itself so the lobby does not fill with abandoned rooms.
Inviting by link
In the waiting room the link is shown in full, with two buttons below it: "Copy link" and "Share link". On a phone the second opens the system share menu, so you can send the link straight to a messenger or by text. Only the table’s creator sees the link.
- The link works for 24 hours. After that it has expired, and your friend will see a message saying the invitation has expired.
- The link is single-use: as soon as your friend sits down, it counts as used. Domino is a two-player game, so nobody else needs it anyway.
- Your friend opens the link and sees a page saying you are inviting them to play. Without an account, they tap "Play as guest", pick a name and an avatar — and they are at the table.
- As soon as the second seat is filled, the match starts. Domino needs no "Ready" button.
If you both have accounts and are on each other’s friends lists, you can skip the table: send your friend a challenge, which expires in two minutes, and the match is always played under the standard Georgian rules. The link is the better choice when your friend has not signed up yet.
You can leave the waiting room, but leaving cancels the table and the link stops working. If your friend is not ready yet, stay in the room or create a new table later. While you wait you cannot start another game: you can only sit at one table at a time, and that applies to both of you.
A password-protected room
A password is an extra lock. A private table already opens only by link, but links end up in group chats or get forwarded. At a password table only someone who has both the link and the password can sit down. The server checks the password and nobody can see it — other players only see that the table is password-protected.
- The password is at least 4 characters. Pick one you can tell your friend out loud or in a separate message.
- Send the link and the password by different routes — the link in a chat, the password on a call.
- With a wrong password the site says the password is incorrect and does not give a seat.
- The table’s creator never needs the password to get back to their own table.
If your friend cannot get in
The most common causes and fixes, by the message the site shows:
- The invitation has expired — the link is older than 24 hours. Create a new table and send a new link.
- The invite link is invalid — it was not copied in full or got mangled on the way. Use the "Copy link" button rather than selecting the text by hand.
- The table is already full — someone else used the link first. That is exactly why a password is worth it if you post the link in a group.
- The table no longer exists — it was cancelled: the creator left, or nobody joined for a long time.
- Your friend is already in another game — you can only sit in one game at a time on the site. They need to finish that match first.
- Not enough Domino Coin at a coin table — your friend is short of coins, or is a guest and has none at all. A free table is simpler.
A coin match with a friend
If you both have permanent accounts, you can also play a friend for Domino Coin. When creating the table, choose "For coins" as the game type and an amount from the fixed values the site allows. The site checks that both of you have enough — you when creating, your friend when sitting down. When the match starts, the same amount is held from each of you, and the winner receives both. The site keeps nothing. If the table breaks up before the match starts, the held coins go back. It is only a virtual coin, so a coin match adds interest and nothing more.
Example: an evening match between two cities
Giorgi is in Tbilisi, his brother Levani in Kutaisi. Giorgi creates a private, free table to 175 points with the password "chiti7". In the waiting room he taps "Share link" and sends it to Levani in a messenger, then tells him the password on a call. Levani, who has no account, opens the link, taps "Play as guest", types the password — and the match begins. When it ends 180:150, Levani offers a rematch, Giorgi accepts, and a new match starts between the same two with no new link needed.
Frequently asked questions
- How long does an invite link work?
- 24 hours, and for one entry only. As soon as your friend sits down, the link is used.
- Does my friend need an account?
- No. After opening the link they come in as a guest with just a name and an avatar. An account is only needed for coin tables and the friends list.
- Can other people see a private table?
- No. A private table is not listed in the lobby. Only someone with the link can sit down, and with a password, only someone who also knows it.
Domino on tamashebi.cc is free to play. Coin tables use only Domino Coin, a virtual in-game coin: it is not money, cannot be bought, cannot be exchanged for money and means nothing outside the site.
The games on Tamashebi.cc are played in a Georgian-language interface. They are free and use a virtual coin, never real money.
